This Privacy Policy describes how Virtus, operated by Elever Vision ("we"), collects, uses, stores and protects the data of people who use the virtus.living website and the app.virtus.living application (the "Service").
1. Data we collect
- Waitlist: your e-mail address, when you submit it to request a beta invite.
- Account: the registration data needed to create and maintain your access to the application.
- Health data: information you provide or import, such as lab tests, imaging exams, body composition and wellness metrics.
- Connected services: when you authorize connecting a third-party service (for example, wearables or a Google account), we receive the data from the scopes you approve.
2. How we use the data
We use the data solely to operate the Service for you:
- to bring together, organize and display your health data in an integrated, longitudinal way;
- to generate analyses and interpretations of your own data;
- to communicate about the beta invite and the operation of the Service.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Use of Google API data
If you connect a Google account, our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use that data only to provide and improve the Service features you request, we do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the Service or as required by law, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security, or as required by law.
4. Sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. We may use infrastructure providers (such as hosting and CDN) that process data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations, or disclose data when required by law.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored in our own (self-hosted) database and on Cloudflare infrastructure, with restricted access. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access.
6. Retention
We keep data while your account exists or while it is needed for the purposes described. You can request deletion at any time.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and revoke the connection of third-party services. To exercise these rights, contact us.
